Here's what your program includes:
Team Orientation Seminar: Goal setting and Practice/ Play/ Tournament Schedule Development – We’ll kick off our Junior Team Coaching season with an open and frank conversation on how to reach goals and how to build a constructive practice, play and tournament season. March 29th 6pm – 8pm (parents may attend)
Tournament Schedule Planning - Kevin,Lisa and Jake will help you build a productive and competitive tournament schedule taking into account age, financial considerations, travel schedule, current skill level and goals. (1hr private meeting)
Weekly Team Practices – Athletes are encouraged to attend all Team Practices in their entirety. Kevin has designed themes and seminars for each Practice. Team practices will include intensive swing work on the lesson tee with full video support. The success of our High Performance Coaching is partly grounded in our “team Building” concept to build confidence and make athletes comfortable around their teammates, coaches, support staff and surroundings. Two Day Training Camp - For 2019 we’ve added a two day spring training camp to fully immerse our Team Members into their season long Coaching Plan. Over the course of two full days, athletes will be put through a long game and short game skills test and have their equipment fully assessed. Friday, Saturday April 19, 20 10am - 5pm
Supervised Practice Sessions - For 2019 we’ve added a completely new practice concept for our Team Members. Weekly Open Practice Sessions will be supervised by our Coaches to ensure productive and efficient practice time and better skills development. The Open Practices will also help to motivate athletes and aid in developing more structured practice schedules. Mondays April 29 - August 12, 4pm - 6pm
Private Coaching – Junior Team Members will receive an extra five 1 hour private sessions to strengthen fundamentals and continue improvement throughout tournament season. Juniors will receive clear, honest and personalized coaching.
GEARS 3D Motion Capture Sessions – Each Team Member will be put through a 1 ½ hour 3D Motion Capture Session. Juniors will see and learn from seeing their swing as a fully rendered 3D avatar model. Junior Team Members will also go through a 1 ½ hr end of season data comparison session. The Kevin Haime Golf School is home to the 1st GEARS 3D Motion Capture Studio in Canada.
On Course Playing Sessions Thanks to our partnership with Clublink, Junior Teams will play two 9 hole rounds with Kevin and Jake over the course of the summer on great layouts like Eagle Creek, Kanata and Greyhawk. Juniors will learn and discuss course management, mental skills, shot making and shot shaping. (Dates T.B.D.)
Team Rules and Conduct Seminar – Junior Team Members can attend our early season Rules Seminar delivered by Kevin with PGA Tour Rules Official Dean Ryan. Juniors will also be educated about their rights and responsibilities as a competitive athlete. Dean is Director of Tour School for the Champions Tour and has been a Rules Official at every Major event including The Masters. (Date T.B.D)
Mental and Emotional Readiness Seminar - Junior Team Members will learn keys and strategies for handling their emotions and making better decisions on and off the course. (Date T.B.D.)
VIP Membership to the Kevin Haime Golf Centre – Team Members will receive a season-long VIP all access membership to the Kevin Haime Golf Centre. Each junior is encouraged to spend many hours working on swing fundamentals, short game and putting at the facility.
Flightscope Access – Each High Performance Junior Team Member will have access to Flightscope Skills Testing and Doppler Radar Data throughout the summer.
Top Tracer Access - Each High Performance Junior Team Member will have access to Top Tracer Practice Bays to enhance gapping control and the productivity of practice time (six hours per week, limited to Team Member only)
Complimentary Entry to Kevin Haime Junior Masters – Every year Kevin and Lisa host a 2 day PGA Tour style golf tournament at The Kanata Golf Club August 3rd and 4th. Your Team Membership exempts you into the event.
Ongoing Support – Kevin, Lisa, Jake and our entire team of instructors will be available on an ongoing basis to help with your development as a golfer on top of the over 75 hours of lesson tee, short game complex and golf course time. We are committed to helping you reach your goals and are available through email or teleconferencing when necessary.

Kevin Haime Biography
Kevin was a successful junior golfer. He played on Golf Quebec Provincial Teams and earned a scholarship to the University of Illinois, a Division I Big Ten Golf Program. Kevin played and travelled with PGA Tour star Steve Stricker and current University of Illinois Head Coach Mike Small. Mike is a three time USPGA National Champion, played on the PGA Tour and today coaches the #1 ranked men's golf program in the US. In a short amateur career Kevin won both the OVGA Match Play and Medal Play Championships before turning pro at age 23. As a pro Kevin has won over 20 events including three PGA of Canada Ottawa Zone Championships.
As a teacher, Kevin has had great success. He is a three time Ottawa Zone Teacher of the Year, a PGA of Canada National Teacher of the Year Award Winner, a contributor to many golf publications, a radio host and a Flagstick Magazine fifteen time Favourite Teacher of the Year right here in Ottawa. Kevin has successfully trained and mentored several OVGA Junior Champions. Kevin has also coached a GAO Provincial Team Member, two reigning Provincial Champions and a Canadian Girls Junior National Champion.
Kevin is passionate about junior golf. He is a four time PGA of Canada Zone Junior Leader of the Year and heads the Kevin Haime Junior Golf Initiative a program that has granted over 600 memberships to local kids. Kevin was also named the 2017 PGA of Canada National Junior Leader of the Year.
We believe Kevin's unique blend of playing ability, tournament success and teaching ability position him as a great mentor for young athletes. Talented and motivated young golfers looking to develop their skills and achieve their goals will benefit greatly working with Kevin.
