Jake Haime
Jake has obviously been immersed in our golf model and coaching philosophy his entire life and is well beyond his years in both golf swing knowledge and experience. Jake is an expert Certified Club Fitter for Ping, Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway and Cobra. He is also certified with FlightScope and has spent hundreds of hours fitting golfers using their Doppler Radar Launch monitors. With a real passion for science and technology in golf, Jake is also certified with GEARS 3D Motion Capture and with Swing Catalyst pressure mats. Jake leads our 3D Motion Capture programs, he is heavily involved in our highly successful Junior High Performance Coaching model and he is our lead Junior Golf Camp programmer. Jake graduated from the Gerald Schwartz School of Business at St Francis Xavier University. Jake regularly guests on Tee It Up on TSN 1200 and contributes to our video tips on all social media platforms. Jake's passion for teaching, his life long involvement with our golf school and extensive training make him one of the top young PGA Of Canada Teachers in the country.

Tell us the 3 golfers (alive or dead) who would fill out your ultimate dream Foursome - Tiger Woods, Annika Sorenstam and Rory McIlroy. These three players have been the most formative for me as a fan of golf and a teacher of the game in the modern era. Each also excels at the highest level in different ways, which would help me learn so much while enjoying the round.
Who is your favourite band or musical artist? - The Foo Fighters
Tell us your favourite Major Championship of all time - The 2003 Masters. Watching Mike Weir be the unlikely winner was the first time I was truly hooked and invested in the results of a tournament on TV. I don’t think that it’s the most important major ever, but it’ll always be special to me.
What is your favourite golf course in the world (that you’ve played)? - I have been very fortunate to play some fantastic courses. My favourite would be either Cabot Cliffs or Royal County Down depending on the day you ask me.
Also, name the course that you would give anything to play - Obviously Augusta National, but the other course at the top of my list is Tara Iti Golf Club in New Zealand
Tell us your best halfway house snack - A Diet Coke and a Peanut Butter & Banana Sandwich
What is your all time favourite golf club? The club that meant the most to you and why? - My Scotty Cameron Newport that I am using now. I got it when I turned 20 with my School team monogrammed on it. I’ve never had a putter sit so well, and it is the only club I have that is also a keepsake.
Your favourite swing on tour right now? - Rory off of the tee, Tiger with his irons. They are so technically strong and athletically gifted in a way that is hard to deny!
