Rules of the Day - 2 person Ryder Cup Format
6 Holes Net Best Ball Both players will play their own ball for the entire hole. The team score will be the better of the two net scores. Individual stroke holes have been indicated on each score card. One dot indicates the player must subtract one stroke from that particular hole.
6 Holes Net Scramble Both players hit a tee shot. The team will select the better of the two tee shots. Selected shot will be marked and both players may place their ball within 12", no nearer the hole, of the selected shot. Both players will hit the second shot. This process is continued until the ball is holed. Team net score will be the total subtracted by the average of the two handicaps for the six holes. Selected shot must remain in the original cut of grass. Example: If the ball is in the rough, balls must be placed in the rough. If selected shot is in a hazard (red stakes or bunkers) the selected shot must be played as it lies and then you must recreate the lie and hit the second ball.
6 Holes Alternate Shot (Odds and Evens) Teams of two will decide which players will tee off on the odd holes and which player will tee off on the even holes. Player A will tee off on the odd holes. Player B will hit the second shot, player A will hit the third shot. This process will continue until the ball is holed. Player B will tee off the even holes, player A will hit the second shot etc... Net score will be the total subtracted by the average of the two handicaps for the six holes.
- Modified handicap scoring system (75% of handicap will be used)
- RCGA will govern all rules of play
- If in doubt of a ruling, play a second ball and the committee will make a decision
