The Ottawa Athletic Club and the Kevin Haime Golf School are proud to continue their partnership and once again offer a great winter golf school experience.
Since Its inception 13 years ago, the Ottawa Athletic Club winter golf program has been the top winter golf destination In the National Capital Region. Now with the combination of the top golf school in the area this winter program is second to none.
For 2008 the golf program will run from December 1st through April 30th.
Winter Golf School
This program is designed to maximize your golf potential. Every member will work with some of Canada's best golf teachers, receive top instruction, and have full access to state of the art video and computer analysis, and other teaching aids.

The Kevin Haime Golf School is a leading golf school in Canada. Since 1988 their award winning staff of CPGA Professionals have improved more than 38,000 golfers. The summer home of the golf school is at the Kevin Haime Golf Centre in Kanata.

Learning is easy if you do it right!
Do you ever wonder why you push the ball to the right, top it, slice it, hit it far or thin etc. Well, the answers all lie within sound CPGA coaches/instructors. I have always professed that with a three year commitment in the OAC golf school, you'll be able to unlock many of the secrets to the golf swing. Rest assurred, it doesn't happen over night, and practicing without a purpose isn't practicing at all. When I (in my own experience) first started to attend the golf school, I finally realized that athletic ability alone wasn't enough to improve my consistency and lower my scores. As time passed I started to look at the game of golf from a different perspective. For example, what I was being taught in the school I looked for on T.V. broadcasts, magazines and golf shows. I watched the golfer's stance, posture, hand and elbow positions, spin angles, shoulder turns, how golfers managed a course (risk/reward, smart/dumb etc.) and all of a sudden what I was learning in the golf school made so much more sense. Watching Ernie Els, Steve Elkington and Annika Sorenstam makes me think of timing, tempo, technique and all the principles that come into play to hit a golf ball effectively.
I truly believe that after attending our Winter Golf School with Kevin Haime, you'll know why you're making mistakes in your swing instead of guessing and taking the well intended mis-directed advice from your friend and spouse (unless your friend is Kevin Haime, or your spouse is Lori Kane). Over the past 12 years, I have seen many people develop into fine golfers and enjoy the game so much more by using the OAC Winter Golf School. Hope to see you in the school.
